DENVER, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- When Denver Startup Week takes place September 15-20, attendees will be able to participate in mentoring sessions with three faculty members from the ForbesTM School of Business at Ashford University. Participants will have an opportunity to sign up for 20-minute one-on-one meetings with the faculty mentors. All mentoring sessions will take place on the first floor of Ashford's Denver Online Center, located at 1515 Arapahoe Street in downtown Denver.
Ashford assistant professor Dr. Richard Leventhal will mentor participants on marketing. Dr. Leventhal has worked for several Fortune 500 corporations in upper management positions in both sales and marketing, and has extensive experience serving as a consultant to both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as managing editor for two global marketing journals.
Ashford assistant professor Dr. Brand Bowler will be sharing his expertise in facilities planning and property management. Dr. Bowler's experience prior to joining Ashford includes working in tax preparation and analysis, facilities planning, property management, and real estate.
Ashford assistant professor Dr. Karen Ivy will offer tips and advice on strategic development, program management, and technology transformation. Dr. Ivy's professional career encompasses more than 25 years in the business, technical, and leadership aspects of the aerospace, manufacturing, commercial consumer and office, health care, and information technology industries. She has principal expertise in strategic development and oversight, service delivery, program management, and technology transformation.
