Ashford recognized among top schools supporting service members

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Ashford University has been named to the 2015 Military Friendly Schools® list by G.I. Jobs magazine. "Ashford University is dedicated to supporting our nation's military and is honored to be recognized on this list," said Dr. Richard Pattenaude, president and chief executive officer of Ashford University. "Pursuing an education can be difficult for these courageous men and women who are often faced with demanding and dynamic schedules. Ashford's progressive, online, digital platform allows service members to earn their college degrees from anywhere in the world while serving our country."

The 2015 List of Military Friendly Schools® was compiled through extensive research and by surveying more than 4,000 VA-approved schools nationwide. Schools on the list offer military scholarships and discounts, veterans clubs, military credit, and other services to those who have served in the armed forces.

Ashford University provides military education benefits to all eligible service members and their spouses. The University's military grant also waives technology fees and pays for all books and applicable shipping costs for qualified military students.
