Ashford University student Kathryn Daniels, who also serves as Ashford’s Golden Key International Honour Society president, has been elected to the Golden Key International Leadership Council as a student member. Service as a student member on the International Leadership Council is the highest position a student can hold within the Honour Society. As part of the election process, Daniels was required to campaign for the position and contacted several Golden Key chapters of other member universities via social media.
“I would like to congratulate Kathryn on a successful campaign and election,” said Dr. William Woods, Ashford University Golden Key chapter advisor. “I look forward to seeing her bring the same diligence and positive attitude to the International Leader Council that she has used in leading our Ashford’s Golden Key chapter.”
The Golden Key International Honour Society has more than 400 colleges and universities chapters and is the world’s largest collegiate honor society. Membership into Golden Key is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study.
