"We developed the Personal Financial Management Bootcamp to address a critical skill gap many people, particularly our young people, face today," said Bob Daugherty, executive dean of the Forbes School of Business & Technology.

"As our economy becomes increasingly complex, a society whose members are financially literate is not only desirable, but imperative – especially if our country hopes to remain globally competitive," added Ken Kam. "The course is designed to help participants achieve the fundamental knowledge and skills required to effectively manage and grow personal assets."

The curriculum is not only designed to develop the competencies essential for those hoping to effectively manage their own personal finances, but to equip participants with transferable skills for business and organizational settings. "The PFM Bootcamp provides a strong foundation and stepping-off point for those whose professional aspirations require an even greater level of financial literacy and skill," said Daugherty.

The PFM Bootcamp is a self-paced, non-credit online module priced at a flat rate of $245. To learn more about Forbes Bootcamps, visit http://forbesbootcamp.com.
