Ashford University Receives Approval from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for its Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management (BAHRM) Program
BAHRM students now eligible to apply for the SHRM Certified Professional exam

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Forbes School of Business & Technology at Ashford University has announced its bachelor of arts in human resources management (BAHRM) program is now acknowledged by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the leading association for human resource professionals.

According to SHRM's HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates, which defines the minimum human resources (HR) content areas that should be studied by HR students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the Forbes School of Business & Technology's BAHRM degree program aligns with SHRM's core curriculum guidelines. In addition, Ashford students enrolled in the BAHRM degree program who are in their final year, are in good academic standing, and have completed the minimum 500 hours of relevant HR experience are now eligible to apply for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) examination in their final year of study.
