SAN DIEGO, Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of Veterans Day, Ashford University will dedicate its San Diego Campus American Flag to students in military service and student veterans. The dedication will occur during a ceremony on November 9 at 10:45 a.m. ahead of Veterans Day, as part of an entire month of events to honor the military. Ashford University President and CEO Dr. Craig Swenson will lead the ceremony, which will also feature a presentation of the colors and a national anthem performance, and Bridgepoint CEO Andrew Clark will provide opening remarks.

"Dedication of this flag honors the service and sacrifices of our students who currently serve and our student veterans," said Dr. Craig Swenson, the university's president. "These dedicated men and women, with the devoted support of their family members, find ways to balance protecting our country and at the same time pursue rigorous academic programs. Military students, faculty, and staff will take part in the ceremony to be held at the Ashford University San Diego campus, located at 8620 Spectrum Center Blvd, San Diego, California, 92123.
