SAN DIEGO, Aug. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of Ashford University's continuing partnership with the No Excuses University network of schools, Ashford recently awarded a San Diego resident with a scholarship to attend the university and further his education.

Eugene Catibog, a parent of a student at Sunset Hill Elementary in San Diego, was awarded a full undergraduate scholarship to the Forbes School of Business & Technology at Ashford University.

To be considered for the scholarship, parents and teachers involved with No Excuses University schools submitted essays detailing what it means to them to be part of a school in the No Excuses University network. This is the fifth consecutive year Ashford University is granting these scholarships, which cover full program tuition and provide a waiver for technology fees.

"Being awarded this scholarship gives me the opportunity to achieve my college education that I always wanted to obtain," says Catibog. "I am most looking forward to attend Ashford University by being able to challenge myself by managing my work/school/family life schedule."
