Salvation Army Food Pantry Receives Donation from Ashford University Group
Ashford University Heroes group purchases food for local food pantry

The Ashford University Heroes group recently purchased food supplies for the Clinton Salvation Army’s food pantry after raising $550.00 by collecting monetary donations and holding a “change war” between the two buildings at the Iowa Online Center. The group received loose change from cars, couches, homes and work cubicles for the project. Last month, someone robbed the food pantry, taking food items including more than $800.00 worth of meat. Case worker Brandy Marquis (center) accepted the food items from Ashford employees Adele Weaver (far left), Stacey Miller (left), Betsy Vanausdeln and Matt Severing.
