Ashford University has been named the third best academic institution for engagement in social media performance via Facebook. The rankings were compiled by technology and data company Engagement Labs, creator of eValue Analytics. Of all the schools that Engagement Labs assessed, only Baylor University and Texas A&M University displayed more Facebook engagement with students than Ashford.
The academic institutions examined by Engagement Labs covered a wide variety of colleges and universities, including schools identified as Ivy League, for-profit, and members of NCAA conferences, such as the Big Ten, the Big 12, the ACC, the Pac-12, and the SEC. Rankings were determined based on each institution’s eValue and Engagement scores.
Ashford University also ranked first among all evaluated schools in the category of Responsiveness on Facebook. This ranking recognized Ashford as an institution that places a high emphasis on response strategies, allowing students to participate in two-way communication.
