Furthering its mission to provide students with high quality programs and leading-edge technology, Ashford University will unveil the Forbes School of Business in a private ceremony on Thursday, December 12.
“We are very excited to introduce the Forbes School of Business,” said Dr. Richard Pattenaude, president and chief executive officer of Ashford University. “The alliance between Ashford and Forbes will enhance the educational experience for our business students and provide them with many new benefits.”
During the ceremony, remarks will be given by Dr. Pattenaude, Forbes Media chairman and editor in chief Steve Forbes, Bridgepoint Education president and chief executive oficer Andrew Clark, and Forbes Media president and chief executive officer Mike Perlis. Following the remarks, all four speakers will participate in a ceremonial signing to formally introduce the new school.
The formation of the Forbes School of Business brings together Ashford University’s established business curriculum and Forbes Media’s global resources, curated talent, and high quality content.
Students of the Forbes School of Business will gain online access to a vast trove of Forbes resources dating back almost a century. Forbes’ contributors may also be available to serve as guest lecturers, sharing their expansive knowledge with Ashford’s online students. Other benefits for Forbes School of Business students include invitations to unique speaker series, and webinars featuring business experts from Forbes’ roster of approximately 1,200 international contributors.
