The weekend celebration kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Ashford’s Clinton, Iowa campus where a variety of events will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These activities include student honor society and faculty meet and greet sessions, photos with Ashford University president Dr. Richard Pattenaude and “Champ” (Ashford’s St. Bernard mascot), historical presentations, food, and a “fun zone” for kids.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, the celebration moves to the iWireless Center at 1201 River Drive, Moline, Ill., where the commencement ceremony begins at 10 a.m. Educator, author, and businessman Stedman Graham will deliver the keynote address.

An expected 1,560 students from across the United States and from several foreign territories will receive their Ashford diplomas during the ceremony. Along with the graduates, there will be an estimated 4,500 friends and family members present. The ceremony – for undergraduate and graduate students – is open to the public.
