Dr. Craig W. Linebaugh Appointed to Ashford University Board of Trustees
Former senior leader at The George Washington University joins Ashford Board

Dr. Craig Linebaugh has joined the Board of Trustees of Ashford University. His term begins immediately.

Dr. Linebaugh brings decades of experience in higher education to the Ashford University Board. He has spent more than 35 years at The George Washington University serving in a variety of leadership roles, including senior associate provost of academic operations, associate vice president for academic planning, and chief academic operating officer of the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn, Virginia. Currently, he is a professor of speech and hearing science and a research professor of medicine at The George Washington University.

His wealth of knowledge, many accomplishments, and years of experience in higher education will be highly beneficial in helping Ashford University achieve its strategic vision,” said Dr. Richard Pattenaude, president and chief executive officer at Ashford University.

Dr. Linebaugh earned his post-doctoral fellow in speech-language pathology from the Mayo Clinic, his Ph.D. in speech and hearing science and his M.A. in speech-language pathology from Temple University, and a B.A. in English literature from Lebanon Valley College.
