Ashford University will hold its commencement ceremony on Sunday, October 2. The ceremony will take place at the Viejas Arena, 5500 Canyon Crest Drive. Graduates and their guests from across the county will converge on San Diego to take part in the ceremony.

“Ashford University’s faculty and staff members eagerly welcome our graduates and their guests to the city of San Diego,” said Dr. Craig Swenson, president and CEO of Ashford University. “Commencement weekend will be filled with activities designed to celebrate the graduates’ academic and personal achievements. The festivities culminate with all the traditional ‘pomp and circumstance’ of Sunday’s commencement ceremony.”

On Saturday, October 1, Ashford will host a campus celebration at its San Diego headquarters, 8620 Spectrum Center Boulevard. Graduates and their guests can enjoy a variety of events and activities to include college mixers, a military appreciation event, honor society meet-and-greets, a graduation cap decorating station, and opportunities to have their picture taken with Ashford’s president and the University’s mascot, Champ. In the evening, graduates and their guests are invited to attend a graduation celebration at Dave and Busters in San Diego, 2931 Camino Del Rio North. Hosted by the Ashford Alumni Association, the event will be held from 5-8 p.m. Space is limited.
