Ashford University Alumnus Wins Graduate Scholar Award from the Golden Key International Honour Society
Steven Fencl received $10,000 scholarship to help pay for his education

The Golden Key International Honour Society has announced that Ashford University graduate Steven Fencl is one of the recipients of the Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award. Fencl earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Ashford in 2014 and graduated magna cum laude. He has won a $10,000 scholarship as part of the award.

The Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award was created to help Golden Key members pay for their post-graduate education. It is considered one of the most distinguished awards offered by Golden Key. Fencl was one of only ten winners of the Graduate Scholar Award for 2014.

Golden Key is the world’s largest honor society, with more than two million members and more than 400 chapters around the world. While membership in Golden Key begins with academic excellence, the Society’s core mission is to enable members to realize their potential through three pillars: academics, leadership, and service. Annually, Golden Key awards more than $1 million in scholarships to its members to support their educational pursuits.
