In recognition of National Volunteer Month, Ashford University, an educational institution owned by Bridgepoint Education, Inc. There are four steps for students to participate:
1. Find a place in the community to volunteer by contacting organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Humane Society of the United States or the YMCA.
2. Contact the local organization and make arrangements to volunteer on April 14.
3. Volunteer on April 14 and wear Ashford University gear or colors.
4. Submit photos and share stories on the Ashford University Facebook page or tweet about the experience using the #AshfordVolunteers hashtag.
Ashford University faculty members and staff will also participate in “Ashford University Volunteer Day” in San Diego, Calif.; Denver, Colo. and Clinton, Iowa.
