Campus students at Ashford University recently elected Emily Ramsey of Elgin, Ill. and Branden Lambiase of Metamora, Ill. as president and vice president, respectively, of the Ashford Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2013-14 academic year. SGA is the representative body of the University’s students and directs student elections, social and cultural activities, and special events on the Clinton, Iowa campus.

Other officers appointed to the organization include:

Treasurer: Connor Murphy, DeWitt, Iowa;

Secretary: Lazara Balcena, Edgewood, WA;

Public Relations: Loren Thacher, Mt. Carroll, Ill.;

Historian: Alexander Richie, St. Louis, MO;

Sophomore Senator: Charley Holsinger, Stillman Valley, Ill.;

Junior Senators: Brenda Arteaga, Chicago, Ill. and Morgan Martells, Sterling, Ill. and

Senior Senators: Alex Kivali, United Kingdom and Crystal Mayton, Oak Lawn, Ill.;

Commuter Senators: Joe Naszke, Seneca, Ill. and Renee Christensen, DeWitt, Iowa; and Transfer Senator: Jeff Mussman, Clinton, Iowa
