(July 13, 2009) – Ashford University is inviting the community to participate in its annual group tour to London, planned for spring break, March 12-21, 2010.
The cost of the trip is $1,799.00 per person (based on double occupancy) and includes roundtrip transportation from Clinton to O’Hare International Airport, roundtrip nonstop airfare from Chicago to London, transfers to and from the hotel, eight nights at the Royal National Hotel with continental breakfast each morning, an 8-day London Travel Card, and all taxes.
“London is one of the world's most diverse and culturally rich destinations,” said Ashford University English professor Sr. Theresa Judge, who will be leading the trip. “No matter how many times you visit, you'll always find new reasons to return. Imagine yourself gliding along the streets of London on an open double-decker tour bus, spanning centuries of drama by visiting the theater, having high tea at Harrods, heading for Buckingham Palace, or visiting the London Eye, London Bridge or the Tower of London.”
A deposit of $250.00 is due by January 12, 2010. Additional information on the trip may be obtained from Judge at 563.242.4023, ext. 1311 or theresa.judge@ashford.edu, or from Mary Jo Dopson at Gateway Travel and Cruise at 563.242.1025 or maryjo@gatewaytc.com.
