Ashford University is pleased to announce its partnership with the Community College of the Airforce, the largest community college in the world with more than 332,000 students registered and the only community college within the Department of Defense.
Through the agreement, all graduates of the 67 Associate Degree programs offered by the CCAF will be guaranteed admittance into one of the following acclaimed programs offered by Ashford: Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management; Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a Concentration in Education; Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences; and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice. Each CCAF student will need a maximum of 60 additional credits to earn their baccalaureate degree from AU.
“Now our students, who are enlisted members of the active duty Air Force, Air National Guard, and Airforce Reserve Command can earn a bachelor’s degree from wherever they are around the world, while enjoying Ashford’s low tuition rate and transfer policy which allows the transfer of 90 community college credits,” said Bettie Varnardo, Chief of the Media and Distance Learning Branch of the Community College of the Airforce.
“Ashford is honored to partner with the CCAF and its brave students who protect our freedoms on a daily basis. This will provide new access to quality baccalaureate programs that are affordable to these servicemen and servicewomen,” said David Vande Pol, Senior Director of Academic Partnerships for Ashford University. “Additionally, these students will now be able to earn a bachelors’ degree from wherever they are stationed to in the world, whether they choose in-person or on-line course delivery.”
