Ashford University has entered into an agreement with Clinton’s Best Western Frontier Inn to lease a block of rooms for its students beginning with the Fall 2010 semester.  

According to John Ballheim, Ashford University vice president/campus director, Ashford University students will be housed in an area of the property separate from Best Western clientele. “Around the clock security measures will be provided in the same format as provided for all Ashford University resident students,” he said, noting that supervision of the facility and community members will be conducted by Ashford University full-time residential professional staff and student resident assistants (RAs). 

The University anticipates returning students who are familiar with Ashford to have the opportunity to use the newly renovated residential space at the Best Western site. “Due to the anticipated increase in new students for the 2010-2011 academic year, it is possible that a small number of new students may reside at the new location,” Ballheim said.
