Ashford University has announced plans to open its newly-acquired indoor tennis center to the public. The facility will be available for a fee and on a daily basis, with operating hours set from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
The Ashford University Community Tennis Center, located on 4th Avenue South, will be under the direct supervision of Ashford’s men’s and women’s head tennis coach, Chad Fenwick.
For reservations of a court, at a rate of $20 per hour, contact Coach Fenwick at 563.249.1004. Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Payments in cash are to be made upon arrival and no walk-ups will be allowed.
Available court times will be contingent upon the Ashford men’s and women’s tennis team practice schedules, tentatively planned from 3-6 p.m. on weekdays. Usage of the facility will be free for Ashford faculty, staff and students, who must adhere to the same reservation guidelines as the general public.
