Ashford University Establishes New Articulation Agreement with Urban College of Boston
UCB Students will be able to Transfer up to 90 Credits to Ashford

Ashford University announced that it has formed an articulation agreement with Urban College of Boston (UCB).

Urban College of Boston is a two-year school in downtown Boston, specializing in education for post-GED development and the advancement of workplace skills for inner-city residents. Their associate’s degrees focus on early childhood education, human services administration and general studies. The school is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (N.E.A.S.C.). Ashford University’s agreement with Urban College of Boston will make it possible for UCB students to transfer up to 90 credits into a four-year Ashford degree program.

“Ashford University is pleased to have joined Urban College of Boston in this articulation agreement,” stated Mark K. Young, Ashford University’s director of Academic Partnerships. “UCB specializes in building the education of inner-city learners, providing more and more students a well-rounded education. With Ashford, UCB’s graduates will have the ability to transfer into a bachelor’s program and to give their growing education continued momentum.”

The articulation agreement formally recognizes that Ashford University and Urban College of Boston are active collaborators, committed to improving educational opportunities and services for students transferring between institutions.
