Ashford University is pleased to announce its partnership with Harper College, located in Palatine, Illinois. Through the partnership, Harper students will be able to transfer into one of Ashford’s acclaimed bachelor’s programs.
Students in the school can earn a bachelor’s degree, while enjoying Ashford’s low tuition rate and transfer policy allowing for the potential transfer of 90 community college credits.
“Harper College has demonstrated a commitment to making higher education accessible, particularly to working adults, which is a principle our university was founded on,” said David Vande Pol, Senior Director of Academic Partnerships for Ashford University. “We are honored to form this partnership with Harper College and look forward to helping Harper students earn their bachelor’s degrees through Ashford.”
Harper’s articulation agreement with Ashford University enables eligible students, who opt to transfer, guaranteed admission and the ability to carry the credits they have already earned. The agreement is available to Harper College students who graduate with any academic degree or certificate and opt to continue their education with Ashford.
“This agreement should be very appealing to our students, who are interested in saving money, by starting at Harper and then transferring to another respected institution to finish up their degree, either online or on campus,” said Dr. Eric Rosenthal, Harper’s Director of Academic Advising and Counseling and Transfer Coordinator. “This allows students the affordability of beginning their college education at a two-year college, and the ease of transferring efficiently.”
All applicable credits earned from Harper College in all programs will be accepted and applied to the appropriate Ashford University degrees. This includes all applicable credits from technical and vocational courses.
“We’re excited to provide baccalaureate-seeking Harper College students with this opportunity to earn their degrees through our partnership,” added Vande Pol. “This unique collaboration opens the door for many who have long wanted to obtain a bachelor’s degree but could only do so in a cost-effective and convenient manner.”
To date, Ashford University has 21 articulation agreements representing 44 colleges.
