Ashford University is pleased to announce its partnership with Cosumnes River College (CRC), located in Sacramento, Calif. Through the partnership, Cosumnes River students will be able to transfer into one of Ashford’s acclaimed bachelor’s degree programs.
Students in the school can earn a bachelor’s degree while enjoying Ashford’s low tuition rate and transfer policy which allows for the potential transfer of 90 community college credits.
“Cosumnes River College has demonstrated a commitment to making higher education accessible to all academically qualified students, which is a principle our university was founded on,” said David Vande Pol, senior director of academic partnerships for Ashford University. “We are honored to partner with CRC and look forward to helping Cosumnes River students earn their bachelor’s degrees through Ashford.”
CRC’s articulation agreement with Ashford University enables eligible students, who opt to transfer, guaranteed admission and the ability to carry the credits they have already earned. The agreement is available to Cosumnes River College students who graduate with any academic degree or certificate and opt to continue their education with Ashford.
“Cosumnes River College is always happy to enter into an articulation agreement with regionally accredited universities such as Ashford University,” said Celia Esposito-Noy, interim president, Cosumnes River College. "The partnership will allow CRC students an easy transfer while furthering their education."
All applicable credits earned from Cosumnes River College programs will be accepted and applied to the appropriate Ashford University degrees. This includes all applicable credits from technical and vocational courses.
“We’re excited to provide baccalaureate-seeking Cosumnes River College students with this opportunity to earn their degrees through our partnership,” added Vande Pol. “This unique collaboration opens the door for many who have long wanted to obtain a bachelor’s degree but could only do so in a cost-effective and convenient manner.”
