Ashford University has introduced a new specialization in Environmental Management for students enrolled in its Master of Business Administration program.
The MBA with an Environmental Management specialization will equip students with an understanding of the profound impact the environment has on a business or company. Students will study environmental law, the relationship between economic forces, business risk, and how businesses can use alternative sources of energy.
“Ashford University’s MBA with Environmental Management specialization provides students with the tools to effectively manage business within the emerging climate of sustainable and renewable systems,” said Dr. Michael Reilly, program director of the Ashford University College of Business and Professional Studies.
“On a global level, corporations and businesses are evaluating the way that their production, operations, and even travel impact our delicate environment. This program will give students a deep understanding of how to operate a business in a way that respects the environment, and give them tools to improve and redesign existing processes and make them more earth-friendly.”
Ashford University’s MBA specialization in Environmental Management is currently available online. It does not include any additional professional licensures or certifications.
