The editors of Military Advanced Education reviewed schools’ qualifications and the extent to which they support servicemembers earning their degree. The annual inquiry analyzed direct assistance provided to soldiers, veterans and their families; the impact and technological value of the scholarly experience (both on campus and online), and the overall quality of the academic material offered at each school.

Ashford University satisfied nearly every specific requirement put forth by Military Advanced Education, including credits for military training, C.L.E.P. (College Level Examination Program) testing, S.O.C. (Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges) membership, a broad range of degrees (associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s), Yellow Ribbon participation, military scholarships, discounts for military dependents, tuition assistance and credit transferability.
