Allie Parker, assistant branch manager at Clinton National Bank Lincoln Way, recently spoke to Ashford University Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) members during PBL’s Celebrating Business Education series.
Parker explained her role as assistant branch manager and shared experiences and advice which helped her to secure a position at the bank. She made her presentation on February 22 to members of Ashford’s PBL, a national organization for students interested in pursuing a business career.
Parker earned her BA in public relations and marketing from Ashford University in May 2010 and she is a 2006 graduate of Camanche High School. While at Ashford, she was a member of the junior/senior honor society, volleyball team, softball team and was a three-time Academic All-American. Parker serves on the marketing committee at the bank and is on the Citizen’s Review Board for United Way. In her spare time, she enjoys playing slow pitch softball, recreational volleyball and spending time with family and friends. She is the daughter of Tom and Lisa Parker and has three younger sisters.
Ashford’s Phi Beta Lambda organization continues to celebrate business education with upcoming conversations with Lori Freudenberg, YWCA director, on March 22 and Lynn McGraw from McGraw Accounting on April 5. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
