A deposit of $250.00 is due by October 15 to reserve space on Ashford University’s annual spring break trip to London, England.
The trip, open to the public and not limited to University students, will be held March 4-11, 2006 and costs $1,499.00 per person (based on double occupancy). The price includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, transfers to and from the hotel and daily full English breakfast. Final payment will be due on January 16, 2006.
According to Sr. Theresa Judge, English instructor at Ashford who coordinates the trip, London offers a variety of attractions. In the past, groups have visited Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Wimbledon, Harrod’s, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Globe Theatre, Kew Gardens, and taken the Chunnel to Paris, France for the day. Judge also offers one college English credit to participants who complete a journal and a paper about the trip.
