The accounting program at Ashford University will host its annual reception on Friday, March 17, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Cortona Art Gallery to honor students who have recently passed the certified public accounting exam.
Being honored is Stephen D. Haufe who was recently licensed by the Iowa Accountancy Board as a CPA in Iowa after successfully completing the four-part national CPA exam and Iowa ethics exam.
Haufe lives in Clinton with his wife, Elizabeth, a special education teacher in the Clinton Community School District. Haufe pursued his accounting studies at Mount St. Clare College and The Franciscan University in 2000-2004 under Professors Larry Roller and Charles West.
Accounting alumni and family and friends of Haufe are invited to the reception.
