Ashford University will celebrate Diversity Week Oct. 17-21 with a variety of events, including “Diversity Dimensions,” an interactive presentation by Zorana Wortham-White on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 3-5 p.m. (CDT) in Collis Lecture Hall. Participants will learn how the diverse dimensions of their lives affect their attitude about diversity.

Students interested in watching, should contact the Student Affairs Office by 12 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, Oct. 18 to obtain the materials that will be used in the presentation. Other activities during the week include a scavenger hunt on Monday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Peace Garden. Participants will learn how to say “welcome” in the languages of some of Ashford’s international students.
During a disability awareness session on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Student Success Lounge, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various technologies used by students with disabilities.
Carl. E. Davis from St. Louis, MO will present a “Chinese Healing Gong Concert” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 in the Mullany Theater.
Also, during the week, students will complete this sentence on the “Reflection Wall” in the Student Success Lounge: “Before I graduate, I…”
