Career Fair Planned at Ashford University
More than 30 businesses will be represented at Ashford University's Career Fair

When Ashford University holds its annual Career Fair on Thursday, April 5, the public will have the opportunity to get information from more than 30 businesses.

Non-profit agencies and for profit businesses will have employment information booths at the career event set for 1-4:30 p.m. in Ashford’s Durgin Educational Center, 400 N. Bluff Blvd., Clinton, IA. Refreshments will be served.

“The annual Ashford University Career Fair is a great way for Ashford students and community residents to explore full and part-time job opportunities as well as network with local businesses,” said Lindsay Adolphs, one of Ashford’s career services coordinators. “Attendees should expect a professional environment at the career fair. Employers will be looking for quality candidates to fill their positions and attendees should be prepared to speak with the employers regarding their qualifications. Remember to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes.”

The following organizations are planning to participate: Aflac, The Alverno, Ashford University, Bridgeview Community Mental Health Care, Brown Mackie College, Citizens First Bank, Clinton Community Schools, Community Care, Inc., DAC, Inc., Family Resources, Inc., Family Video, Gateway Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, The Healing Place, KCLN, Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, New Choices, Inc., Northwestern Mutual Financial Network - The Zach Group, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Pathways Living Center, Inc., Powell Financial Group, Skyline Center, Inc., St. Ambrose University, Western Illinois University, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and WQAD.
