Ten Colleges Enter Into Articulation Agreements with Ashford University
Agreements help students transition into a four-year university

Ashford University formed articulation agreements with ten community and regional colleges in the second quarter of 2012. The agreements allow students of these two-year schools to transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford University.

Among the colleges that established articulation agreements with Ashford University are Cypress College in California; Polk State College in Florida; Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana; Western Iowa Tech Community College; North East Community College in Nebraska; Fayetteville Tech Community College in North Carolina; LDS Business College in Utah; and Austin Community College, Navarro College and Tarrant County Community College in Texas.

“These agreements are great for all students and schools involved,” said Mark Young, Ashford University’s director of academic partnerships. “It makes for an almost seamless transition to a four-year university.”

The articulation agreements between Ashford University and these community colleges show a commitment to increasing educational opportunities and enabling a direct progression for students transferring from a two-year college to a four-year institution.
