Ashford University Underwrites Whatever It Takes, Inc. Student Leadership Program
W.I.T. supports academic engagement by encouraging community leadership

Ashford University has donated $25,000 to Whatever It Takes, Inc. (WIT), a non-profit leadership development program based in San Diego. Ashford’s gift will enable the establishment of the WIT Leadership Program at five San Diego schools.

“At Ashford University, we value community service as a key component of leadership,” said Dr. Elizabeth Tice, president and CEO of Ashford University. “We are proud to support WIT’s efforts to promote social responsibility among San Diego’s youth.”

WIT provides schools in the Unites States and overseas with activities and guidance designed to improve students’ sense of leadership, social responsibility and community service. WIT programs are intended to help students both academically and interpersonally.

"Ashford University's donation to Whatever It Takes (WIT) will enable us to empower and inspire more students to take leadership roles in and out of the classroom," said Sarah Hernholm, president and founder of WIT. "We can't wait to see the projects these students come up with!"
