Ashford University Named One of the Top 100 Producers of Asian American and Pacific Islander Graduates by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education

Ashford University has earned a spot on Diverse: Issues in Higher Education’s list as one of the 100 institutions identified as a “Top Producer of Asian American and Pacific Islander Graduates.” The list recognizes the post-secondary institutions that confer the most degrees to Asian American and Pacific Islander students in the United States.

To compile the list, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education relied upon data sourced from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Rankings were determined based on IPEDS completion data for Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) and race/ethnicity. Ashford University demonstrated a standard of excellence in retaining and conferring degrees to minority students – primarily Asian American and Pacific Islander students – in degree disciplines as varied as business, English, engineering, and social sciences.

“It is an honor for Ashford to be ranked by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education as one of the top institutions conferring degrees to Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders,” said Dr. Craig Swenson, president and CEO of Ashford University. “Ashford takes pride in the fact that we are making higher education accessible to such a diverse range of students and, in this case, students of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.”
