Ashford University Introduces New Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance

Ashford University has introduced a new Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance. It represents the latest step in Ashford’s commitment to providing high-quality degree programs to students seeking careers in the business field.

The program integrates a broad business curriculum to help students understand business as a whole, as opposed to a narrow view. Students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance will experience significant flexibility with their career options. A Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance prepares students for a wide range of positions in areas such as credit management, trust administration, financial planning, financial services, banking, real estate, corporate financial management, financial analysis, foreign exchange analysis, strategic planning, business analysis, risk management and many other professional areas.

“Ashford University’s Bachelor of Arts in Finance degree combines the optimum blend and professional practice for a comprehensive education in the finance discipline and general business,” said Dr. Michael Reilly, program director of the Ashford University College of Business and Professional Studies. “Those with strong financial backgrounds are often the most respected people in the business organization.”

Ashford University’s Finance teaching faculty are experienced professionals holding advanced degrees in their respective fields. Many have financial management career experience. In addition, many resources – including the ProQuest ABI/INFORM Dateline, Global, Trade & Industry, Banking Information Source and Hoover’s Company Records library databases holding thousands of current articles – have been allocated to the Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance.

Ashford University’s bachelor’s degree in Finance is currently available online. It does not include any additional professional licensures or certifications.
