Ashford University Signs Articulation Agreement With City College of San Francisco

CLINTON, Iowa, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Ashford University has announced a new partnership and articulation agreement with City College of San Francisco, one of the largest community college systems in the nation.

City College of San Francisco, also known as the largest single-administration community college in the State of California, serves approximately 105,000 students every year. With more than 100 instructional sites located throughout the San Francisco region, the college offers courses in some 50 academic programs and 100 occupational disciplines, in addition to free noncredit coursework designed to meet specific community needs.

"City College of San Francisco has demonstrated a commitment to making higher education accessible, particularly to working adults, which is a principle our university was founded on," said David Vande Pol, senior director of academic partnerships for Ashford University. "We are honored to form this partnership with City College of San Francisco and look forward to helping its students earn their bachelor's degrees through Ashford University."

This partnership will allow City College of San Francisco students the opportunity to transfer up to 90 credits into one of Ashford University's online or on-campus bachelor's degree programs.

To date, Ashford University maintains 28 articulation agreements representing 104 colleges.
