Gardina Named President of Iowa Network for Women in Higher Education
Ashford Vice President to Lead Iowa Women's Education Group

Dr. Hope Gardina, Vice President of Academic Affairs for Ashford University, became President of the Iowa Network for Women in Higher Education on January 1, 2009.  

Gardina, who has been employed at Ashford University since July 2005, has served on the Iowa Board of Directors for two years.  The organization is connected to the American Council on Education's Office of Women in Higher Education.  

According to its mission statement, the primary goal of the Iowa Network for Women in Higher Education is to facilitate the development of women leaders in higher education through conversations, collaborations, and mentoring across the state.
