Ashford University Expands Academic Offerings with New Public Administration Programs

Ashford University (AU) has introduced a Public Administration minor and specialization to its diverse portfolio of academic program offerings. The new 6 class/18 unit minor and 4 class/12 unit specialization are both offered through AU’s College of Business and Professional Studies.

According to Dr. Michael Reilly, Professor and Program Director of the College of Business and Professional Studies at AU, “The establishment of the Public Administration minor and specialization increases the academic and professional opportunities available to Ashford University’s undergraduate students.”

Added Reilly, “We anticipate this new offering will help to fill in the gaps where students, interested in learning about the public service arena, can have ready access to such studies in a non-traditional setting. We’ve arranged an outstanding lineup of online courses, designed to provide essential learning and success in the field of public administration.”

Graduates of AU’s Public Administration minor and specialization programs will be academically prepared for work in the public service and/or non-profit sectors, in such careers as city/county manager, management analyst, safety officer, customs inspector, criminal investigator, patent examiner, urban planner, social worker and industrial relations specialist.  To learn more or to apply, visit www.ashford.edu.
