Ashford University Introduces Specialization in Logistics Management

Ashford University has introduced a new specialization in Logistics Management. It is available online in conjunction with the following Bachelor of Arts programs offered by Ashford University: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Organizational Management, Operations Management, and Public Administration.

The specialization in Logistics Management will augment the Bachelor of Arts programs by providing a background in logistics and analytics and giving students insight into how they can be used to enhance a company’s performance and bottom line. It will seek to provide a greater understanding of how a company’s transportation system works, including the distribution of products, services, and materials.

When taken as part of a business degree, the specialization in Logistics Management will help prepare students to enter careers such as: Supply Chain Manager, Transportation Manager, Warehouse Manager, and more.

“Ashford University’s specialization in Logistics Management combines the optimum blend of theory and professional practice for anyone seeking a career in the distribution of products, services, and materials. It is designed for anyone with an interest in supply chain management, transportation management, or warehouse management,” said Dr. Michael Reilly, program director of the Ashford University College of Business and Professional Studies.

Ashford University’s specialization in Logistics Management is currently available online. It does not include any additional professional licensures or certifications.
