Ashford University Class Seeks Sponsors
AU Class Project Searching for Sponsors of Kenyan Children

This semester, the undergraduate international business class at Ashford University is involved in a vital life saving project.

Students in the class are searching for sponsors of orphans and other children living in Kimondo, Kenya, Africa. For only $30 each month a sponsor can provide food, shelter, education, medical care and clothing to a child aged 8-14 years. “Sponsorship prevents starvation, sickness, abuse and total abandonment of the children,” said Ashford University assistant professor Dr. William Woods.  He noted that the motto of the class is “One student finds One sponsor saves One child.”

The class is working with the Fishers of Men Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization. Persons interested in sponsoring a Kenyan child should contact Woods at 800.242.4143, ext. 7899 or william.woods@ashford.edu and he will provide additional information on the sponsorship process handled through the Fishers of Men organization.
