Ashford University Gives More Than $7,500.00 to United Way
University Donates $7,631.60 to Gateway United Way

Ashford University recently presented a check for $7,631.60 to the Gateway United Way.  The check represented a corporate donation and the proceeds from other staff and faculty fund raising events for the organization.

According to Christina Stec, Ashford human resources representative who helps coordinate United Way events at the University, this year employees sold cookbooks and t-shirts and sponsored several events to raise money. Those events included: a themed basket contest and auction, a dress down day, “lunch on the lawn” and an evening at Manny’s Too in Fulton.  There was also an employee pledge card drive.
