Ashford Blood Drive Nets 14 Units

Fourteen units of blood were collected when Ashford University’s Student Government Association held its Halloween American Red Cross Blood Drive on October 31.

Melissa Wiebenga, Director of Student Activities, said that each unit could save the lives of up to three people. “Our donors should be proud of the contribution they made to the blood bank,” she said. “Saving 42 lives is something everyone should be proud of.”

Twenty people attempted to give blood during the drive at Ashford.
