Eight Colleges Enter Articulation Agreements with Ashford University

Ashford University formed articulation agreements with eight community and regional colleges in the third quarter of 2011. The agreements allow for students of these two-year schools to transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford University.

Among the colleges that established articulation agreements with Ashford University are Chaffey College, Santa Monica College and Palo Verde College in California; Hawkeye Community College and Iowa Central Community College in Iowa; Coconino Community College in Arizona; Mountwest Technical and Community College in West Virginia; and Highline Community College in Washington.

“These agreements are great for all schools and students involved,” said Mark Young, Ashford’s director of academic scholarships. “It makes for an almost seamless transition to a four-year university.”

The academic partnerships between Ashford University and these community colleges show a commitment to increasing educational opportunities and enabling a direct progression for students transferring from a two-year college to a four-year institution.
