Two Community Colleges Form Articulation Agreements with Ashford University
Agreements expand educational options for community college students

Ashford University formed articulation agreements with two community colleges in the first quarter of 2016. With the articulation agreements, graduates of these two-year institutions will be able to transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford University.

The colleges that entered into articulation agreements with Ashford University are the Alamo Colleges in San Antonio, Texas and Pierce College District in Lakewood, Wash.

“Ashford University’s new articulation agreements will be a great benefit to all schools involved,” stated Mark Young, divisional vice president of academic partnerships for Ashford University. “With the opportunity to progress to a four-year degree, the students at these schools can begin their college education locally and finish with Ashford University.”

The articulation agreements between Ashford University and these community colleges demonstrate a commitment to increasing educational opportunities and enabling a direct progression for students transferring from a two-year institution to a four-year university.
