Ashford University formed articulation agreements with three community colleges in the second quarter of 2014. With these articulation agreements, graduates of two-year institutions will be able to transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford University.
The colleges that entered into articulation agreements with Ashford University are Bellevue College in Bellevue, Wash.; Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas; and the 13 campuses of San Joaquin Valley College in Calif.
“These new articulation agreements will provide students with the opportunity to progress to a four-year degree,” said Mark Young, divisional vice president of academic partnerships for Ashford University. “Students at these schools can begin their college education locally and finish with Ashford University, providing great benefit to all schools involved.”
The articulation agreements between Ashford University and these community colleges demonstrate a commitment to increasing educational opportunities and enabling a direct progression for students transferring from a two-year institution to a four-year university.
