Ken Fisher, founder, chairman, and CEO of Fisher Investments, will give a special presentation at Ashford University on Saturday, May 3 as part of the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University Speaker Series. The presentation is set for 12:45-1:30 p.m. in Mullany Theater, followed by a VIP reception and meet-and-greet event from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in room C3600 of St. Clare Hall. Perhaps best known for his Forbes "Portfolio Strategy" column, Fisher's 29 years of high-profile market calls make him the third longest-running columnist in Forbes history. He is also a best-selling author, having written 10 books, including four New York Times bestsellers. His latest book, The Little Book of Market Myths, was published in 2013. In 1984, his Super Stocks was that year's best-selling stock market book.

As an investment guru, Fisher has been published, interviewed, and/or been written about in numerous major American, British, and German finance and business periodicals. He writes a weekly column for Germany's Focus Money magazine as well as a monthly column on the UK's Interactive Investor website. From 2005 to 2012, his Forbes market forecasts were among the most accurate as reviewed by the third-party CXO Advisory Group whose “Guru Grades” rate the accuracy of publicly available expert forecasts on the stock market.

Parking Information

Ashford University's campus is open and will host hundreds of graduating students on Saturday, May 3. Satellite parking locations will be available for those guests who do not require special accommodations. Please park at 91 6th Ave N., Clinton, IA 52732.

Shuttle buses will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a loop from the satellite parking location to the Ashford University main campus and back to the satellite location. Please look for signs identifying the Ashford University shuttle and parking locations.

NOTE: Traffic to and from all events may be very congested. Please take traffic into consideration when planning travel arrangements. It could take 30 minutes to an hour to catch a shuttle to your car and exit parking locations. Carpooling to the event is highly encouraged.
