More than 1,100 Students Planning to Attend Ashford University's Commencement Activities
Commencemnt events set for May 2-3

May 2-3 will be an exciting time for Ashford University as it welcomes its Spring 2015 graduating class to a weekend of commencement activities. More than 7,500 students are scheduled to complete their Ashford degrees and 1,100 of them, along with their friends and families, are planning to participate in the commencement celebration.

Food, fun, and friends await graduates and their families during the Ashford Campus Celebration from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at the Clinton, Iowa campus, 400 N. Bluff Blvd. The day will be jam-packed with activities, including campus tours, honor society and military appreciation events, and an Ashford history presentation. Students can have their photo taken with Ashford President Dr. Richard Pattenaude and Champ, the University’s St. Bernard mascot. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the deans, executive deans, and select faculty members from each of the University’s four colleges. Activities for kids – including a bounce house, games, and craft projects – are planned in “The Future Achievers Fun Zone.”

Graduates will celebrate their academic accomplishments during the commencement ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 3 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Ill. Check-in for graduates begins at 7 a.m. with line-up set for 9 a.m. The ceremony is open to the public.
