Student Photography on Display in Ashford University Art Gallery
Five students will display their photos in new exhibit

Five senior students at Ashford University will display their photographs in “The Way We See It,” a new exhibit in the University’s Cortona Art Gallery that will run through January 2016.

The exhibit is part of Ashford’s Photography II class. On display will be photos taken by:

  • Megan Cassagrande, Ludlow, Ill.
  • Brianna Herin, Chadwick, Ill.
  • Alex Miner, Dysart, Iowa
  • Tanner Seeley, Des Moines, Iowa
  • Brandon Washburn, Delmar, Iowa

The public is invited to a reception for the artists on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the art gallery.

The Cortona Art Gallery is located on the second floor of Ashford University’s St. Clare Hall at 400 North Bluff Boulevard in Clinton. The gallery is named for Sister Cortona

Phelan, OSF, former president of Mount St. Clare College (MSC) and former president of the Sisters of St. Francis. For many years, Sister Cortona influenced the quality of education at the college through her teaching of American history and her love of the arts. She also served as MSC Academy principal and as dean of students at the college.
