Sixteen Community Colleges and Institutes Enter into Articulation Agreements with Ashford University
Agreements expand educational options for community college students

Ashford University formed articulation agreements with 16 community colleges and institutes in the third quarter of 2013. With these agreements, graduates of two-year institutions will be able to transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford University.

The colleges that entered into articulation agreements with Ashford University are Merritt College and Laney Community College in Oakland, Calif.; Leeward Community College in Pearl City, Hawaii; Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Mo.; North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Mo.; Craven Community College in New Bern, N.C.; Mitchell Community College in Statesville, N.C.; New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, N.M.; Suffolk Community College in Selden, Brentwood, and Riverhead, N.Y.; Jefferson Community College in Watertown, N.Y.; Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas; Texas State Technical College Harlingen in Harlingen, Texas; Midland College in Midland, Texas; Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Wash.; Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Wash.; and Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, Va.

The articulation agreements between Ashford University and these community colleges and institutes demonstrate a commitment to increasing educational opportunities and enabling a direct progression for students transferring from a two-year institution to a four-year university.
