On July 15, Ashford University received an Action Letter from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) outlining the WSCUC Special Visit team’s findings from its visit to Ashford in April. The Action Letter stated that the Special Visit team had found substantial evidence that Ashford continues to make sustained progress in all six areas that WSCUC cited as issues that required continued attention back in 2013 when the accrediting body granted initial accreditation to Ashford.

“This visit is just one step on our journey to continuously improving student outcomes and we look forward to building on these accolades in order to further enhance student success,” said Dr. Richard Pattenaude, president and CEO of Ashford University.
