Ashford Professor Elected to Golden Key International Honour Society Council of Advisors

Dr. William G. Woods, an associate professor in the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University, has been elected to the Golden Key International Honour Society Council of Advisors.

In this position, Dr. Woods will act as a mentor to chapter advisors from other universities, support the Golden Key International Leadership Council and international staff, and work on issues that are important to Golden Key. Woods will serve a three-year term.

The position is voluntary and requires attendance at Golden Key conferences and annual meetings, as well as participation on quarterly conference calls.

Woods has served as an Ashford University chapter advisor since the chapter was founded in 2010. During that time, the chapter has been recognized as an exemplary Golden Key chapter. For each of the last two years, Ashford has won the Society’s Key Chapter Award, a designation for chapters that exemplify outstanding achievement or contributions in the areas of academics, leadership, and service.
